Our Story
As a licensed Massage Therapist, I've always been intrigued and passionate about natural and holistic approaches to health and well-being. After becoming a mom in 2017, I knew I truly wanted to care for my daughter with natural products for her baby skin. That desire grew into a dream of creating products that I'd be able to include into my own practice's shop.
Every time I make something, I do so knowing that my daughter and my family will use them as well. Hence, every ingredient used is intentional and everything created is a product of love and of the goodness that results in naturally made things.
Sana means "heal" in spanish and although I don't claim to heal with what I make; for me, nothing beats using natural handmade products. I wanted to share that feeling with everyone.
This journey has been a long time coming and one that took me becoming a mother to strive to make it happen. There were many discoveries and lessons in this journey and some that I'm still encountering. No matter the time I've taken to get here, I'm just happy to be able to share my creations with everyone searching for a natural approach to skin care. Most of all, I'm grateful to have the opportunity to show my daughter that anything is possible with a little faith, a measure of passion and good ol' hard work.
Sana Bodycare soap is made in small batches using the traditional cold process method and cured for 4-6 weeks. Each bar is unique and varying slightly in size, shape, and weight.
